Scopus Early Career Researcher UK Award 2020 - Dr Lisa Bardach - Social Sciences
Dr. Lisa Bardach is the winner of the Scopus Early Career Researcher UK Award 2020 in the category of Social Sciences. Currently, she holds the position of junior research group leader and senior post-doctoral researcher at the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology at the University of Tübingen in Germany and will transition to an Assistant Professor-position at the same institute in December 2020. Previously, she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow in the ERC (European Research Council)-funded Teacher Selection Project (PI: Prof. Rob Klassen) at the University of York.
Building on the work she has carried out at the University of York, she is furthermore interested in cognitive and non-cognitive characteristics and competences of effective teachers and does research on teacher selection, recruitment, and professional development.
